SUNY NEW PALTZ CELEBRATES ITS 6TH YEAR OF PARTICIPATION IN THE NATIONAL MAKE A DIFFERENCE DAY PROGRAM
MAKE A DIFFERENCE DAY 2009
Friday, October 23 & Saturday, October 24

THIS YEAR'S ACTIVITIES
As part of the 2009 Make a Difference Day events, we will have two elements of the programs - collections (leading up to the event with collections on Friday) and hands on service (Saturday). We encourage, students, faculty, and staff to participate in this great traditional event at SUNY New Paltz. Keeping reading for more details on how to participate. We are also excited to be introducing for the first time a closing reflection dinner where participants will be able to gather from their day of service. Participants will be able to reflect, share, and learn from others about the experiences encountered on this day. Our hope is that you by making a difference on this day, we will inspire all participants to continue a spirit of service and citizenship, locally and globally.
