Hours of Operation:

Saturday - Sunday 11 a.m. - 12:00 a.m.

If you are in need of directory assistance please feel free to call the information center at x3000.

The information staff will provide you with assistance and information about the SUNY New Paltz campus, offices, programs and frequently asked questions. The information center staff is also a great directory assistant for offices and affairs that occur in the SUB. Residence Hall and Greek Life mailboxes are now located here as well. Organizations needing to sign out keys to their office or to borrow A/V equipment should visit the Information Center for assistance.

Office Key Sign-out Procedures
Organizations which are assigned office space in the Student Union Building are asked to submit names of individuals with room privileges in writing to Student Activities.  The Office of Student Activities will maintain a binder in the First Floor Information Booth with a list of authorized users and key receipt log.  You must surrender a New Paltz ID to obtain a key and it will be returned when the key is returned.  Students may only sign out keys for organizations they are authorized for.  Many offices in the SUB are shared by multiple student groups and it is imperative that individuals return keys to the Information Booth after use and not hold on to them.

Greek Mail Slot Procedures
During the first two weeks of each semester, each recognized organization is asked to submit names of two mail representatives.  The Office of Student Activities will maintain a binder in the First Floor Information Booth with a log of authorized users and signed receipt of mail. We ask that representatives collect their mail on a weekly basis and that only authorized members attempt to sign out mail.

Greek Life mail slots are strictly for sorority, fraternity and governing board packages. Personal mail should be sent to a personal mailbox.  If you are expecting Priority Mail, please ask the sender for a tracking number. Please note that the Student Activities Professional staff does not sign for mail. Rather, mail services signs when it arrives on campus.  There may be a slight time differential between delivery to campus and placement in mail slots.

Please use the following format for mail:
