The Office of Student Activities and Union Services is working towards making the SUNY New Paltz community a more engaging place for our off-campus population. To do this though, we need your help!
We have started a new organization, the Commuter Student Council, or CSC for short, which would be dedicated to identifying and addressing the needs of the off-campus student population. This group of students would sponsor programming that included social events, networking opportunities, leadership development, etc, all geared at giving off-campus students a more enriching campus experience. If you are interested in working with this group please send an email to our Graduate Assistant, Josh, with your name and contact information at sub@newpaltz.edu with "commuters" in the subject line.
Major Event!
Join us on October 24th and 25th for our annual Make a Difference Day celebration. This year our theme is SUNY New Paltz Celebrates Senior Citizens. We are working with local organizations to reach out to senior citizens living in the local community. We will be collecting food to make emergency meal boxes. The packaging of the food will take place during the day on October 25th and that evening we will be holding a social event where local senior citizens can come to campus for some snakcs, refereshments, and live entertainment.
If you are interested in helping out with any of this, please email us at sub@newpaltz.edu with "MADD" in the subject line.
