Your offical transcript can be requested directly from Records and Registration at my.newpaltz.edu at no cost!
 

Request one academic reference from a faculty member through your online application.
 

This is your chance to personalize your application!

When composing your Study Statement it is important to address the impact that your study abroad program or internship will have on your academic, professional and personal goals.

Your composition should be 500-750 words double-spaced and uploaded as a PDF attachment.

 

Some key points to keep in mind are:

  • Why have you chosen your country of study? What factors led you to select this country?
  • How will this study abroad program and the coursework you take abroad impact your academic and future professional goals?
  • If you are applying to the Global Scholar Program, please comment on your commitment to academic studies while studying abroad to be considered for the Global Scholar Program.
