Fall/Spring/Academic Year Currently, the Center for International Programs at SUNY New Paltz has limited exchange scholarships for SUNY New Paltz students at the following locations:
An exchange scholarship allows a SUNY New Paltz student to study at one of the above universities and pay regular SUNY tuition only; the program fee listed on the Costs page will be waived. The availability of Exchange Scholarships is determined by the number of students hosted at SUNY New Paltz from the above partner universities. Exchange Scholarship Application Criteria
A SUNY New Paltz student who does not qualify for a limited exchange space is eligible to go to the desired overseas host university as a study abroad student and pay the regular study abroad rate (see program fees on website). Exchange Scholarships are awarded if: 1. Student meets the exchange scholarship application criteria; AND 2. Student has submitted a COMPLETE study abroad application: online application, study statement, all transcripts, and references. (Earliest completed applications considered first); AND 3. There is a scholarship available (varies by program and semester). **Scholarships will be awarded at the time of study abroad application review--the Center for International Programs cannot tell in advance who will receive a scholarship. APPLICATION: There is no special form or application for the Exchange Scholarship. All students complete the standard SUNY New Paltz online application. The Center for International Program notifies the student if s/he is awarded a scholarship. PLEASE NOTE: Availability of exchange scholarships are very limited and are for ONE semester only (not an academic year). Criteria used for awarding exchange scholarships are subject to change without notice. Non-SUNY New Paltz students are not eligible for the SUNY New Paltz Exchange Scholarships. | Choosing a Program | Choosing Courses | Abroad Blogs | |
