Withdrawing From Your Program

In order to withdraw from your study abroad program, it is necessary to contact both your overseas site and the Center for International Programs.

If you are a New Paltz students participating in another SUNY program, be sure to contact your overseas site, the Center for International Programs, as well as the sponsoring SUNY's study abroad office.

If you withdraw during the drop/add period of the semester, which is usually during the first two weeks, you may still be able to take classes at your home campus. If you do not withdraw from the program during the drop/add period of the semester, you will receive an "F", and will incur certain financial liabilities.

Please refer to the Semester or Summer/Intersession Study Abroad Handbook for refund information.
