SUNY New Paltz offers a comprehensive Parent Orientation for parents, guardians and family members of incoming Freshmen. The Parent Program runs concurrently with the Freshman Program. Parents and Family Members will have the opportunity to:
- Meet with faculty and staff who will be instrumental in your student's transition to college
- Chat with other parents and family members sharing the same transitional experience
- Speak with current New Paltz students about their college experience
- Learn about the many student and academic support services available at New Paltz
- Take tours of Mohonk Mountain House and Historic Huguenot Street
- Utilize fitness options
- Stay on campus(optional)
