Questions Common to both Renewable Energy Workshop and Geology Field trip

1. How can I find additional information?
   This is a preliminary website. Additional information will be provided in future versions as new questions arise.
2. Can I register for only one course? Or do I have to register for both?
   You can register for only the two-day Renewable Energy Workshop (cost $95), or only for the one-day Geology Field Trip (cost $95), or for the two courses (duration: 3 days, cost $190). Note however that if you register for the Renewable Energy Workshop, you cannot attend only one day; you have to commit to the two days.
3. How many hours of instruction and CEU’s are there?
   Sessions will run from 8AM to 5PM, but will include some breaks. The renewable energy workshop extends for 2 days, accounting for 2 CEU’s. The geology field trip will last one day and provide 1 CEU.
4. Do you accept credit cards? 
   Yes, Visa or MasterCard only. Please call Germaine Litus at (845) 257 3728. She will need the following credit card information:  type, 16-digit number, expiration date, the security code on the back (3-digit number) and the address to which your credit is billed. Sorry, debit card payment is not accepted.
5. Where do I send my check?
   Make out check to SUNY New Paltz, and please send it to Germaine Litus, School of Science and Engineering, REH 114, 1 Hawk Dr., SUNY New Paltz, New Paltz, NY 12561
6. Can I pay with a purchase order?    
   No. We cannot accept purchase orders.
7. Where can I park my car?    
   In parking lots 20 or 21, adjacent to Resnick & Wooster Science Buildings. Please see the Campus map Web site. You will not need a parking permit.
8. Where can I stay?

    July 7th at 8 AM in Resnick Engineering Hall (REH) 109. To access REH, enter the Campus through the East Entrance. Please see the Campus map Web site.
11. Is lunch included in the price?
    Yes, and so are refreshments, supplies (paper, pens), plus all instructional materials that you can take with you to duplicate experiments at your high school.

12. Where & when does the geology field trip meet?   
    In Parking Lot 21 in front of Wooster Science Building, July 9th at 8 AM. To access parking lot 21, enter the Campus through the East Entrance. Please see the Campus map Web site.
13. What should I wear for the geology field trip?
    Outdoor clothes and good walking shoes. Bring a hat, and if necessary, rain gear.
14. What physical requirements are important for the field trip?        
    Some moderate walking will be required
15. Is lunch included in the price? Yes, and so are refreshments and supplies (paper, pens, etc.)
