Secondary Education for Science & Math Story

Semester almost over.

12/04/2009

The semester is over and finals are here as our students present final projects and cheer, ‘It’s over, it’s over they say with a sigh until they return in January on nigh.'

Exploring the Universe students prepare for the final with diffraction gradient glasses. Hmmmmmmm. Everything is in Technicolor!

The secret to good classroom management is to develop a good rapport with your students, keep them engaged in active learning, and value what the have to say. Preparation for the finals and presentation reviews could be fun if we weren’t supposed to do anything.

Pre-service teachers will be going out to student teach in the high schools and middle schools next semester. With the plethora of tidbits they have received to help them to succeed, they are still debating what will work, and what will not. She said ‘Fail to plan, plan to fail. I am telling you, this is how it works. It cannot work any other way’.
