Secondary Education for Science & Math Story

Teaching Students While Having Fun Outdoors

07/10/2009

Summer courses can be a great way to interact with the environment, collect data, and then figure out what to do with the data as can be seen with the graduate students at the Field Immersion Inquiry course here at SUNY in the summer of 2009.

In an effort to created meaningful, inquiry-based, hands-on/minds-on standards-based curriculum in the field, these graduate students go above and beyond the call of science. We had great fun while we learned.
