Examination of research and practice in the teaching of literacy. Includes participation in a regional and national network of literacy educators. Participants must apply and be accepted in order to enroll in the course. (First part of a two-part course sequence.)Written application, interview, and approval building administrator.Participants must submit to the application and interview process and have current or recent experience in Hudson Valley Schools. This is not a program for pre-services teachers.
