Applying to Programs

To apply to the undergraduate program in Adolescence Education (current students at SUNY New Paltz), please pick up an application from the Department of Secondary Education, South Faculty Building 101. Applications must be returned to the department by March 31 for the fall semester and by October 31 for the spring semester.

To apply to the undergraduate program in Adolescence Education (transfer students), you must first be accepted to the college. As part of the application process, the Office of Admissions will mail an application for the Adolescence Education program to you. The deadline for applications to the college is April 1 for the fall semester, and October 15 for the spring semester. The application for the Adolescence Education program must be returned promptly to the Department of Secondary Education (South Faculty Building 101).

To apply to a graduate program in Adolescence Education (MAT/MSED), you will need to apply to The Graduate School. The application is available on their Web site. The deadline for applications is March 1 for the fall semester, and October 1 for the spring semester. NOTE: These deadlines are a month before those for several other graduate programs.
