Graduate

The graduate sculpture program provides an atmosphere of encouraging independent exploration, experimentation, critical awareness, and engagement in the issues, forms, and contexts of contemporary practice in the profession. The program endeavors to challenge and expand on the rational and modes of working that each graduate student pursues. Topically focused classes balance studio experience with critical discourse. The existing interdisciplinary courses Critical Dialogues and Graduate Seminar round out the curriculum. In a flexible program encompassing the breadth of today's sculptural practice, each student has the opportunity to articulate an individual vision and make a significant contribution to the discipline.
