NEW PALTZ - The School of Business at the State University of New York at New Paltz and Campus Auxiliary Services, Inc. will hold the annual business plan contest presentation and award ceremony on Wednesday, May 8 in the Student Union (rooms 62/63) on campus.

The six teams of students will present their business plans before a panel of judges from 12:15 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. The award ceremony will begin at 3:15 p.m.

The business plan contest gives students an opportunity to test their knowledge in real business settings by researching and developing an idea and turning it into a practical and profitable business plan. Business sponsors include: Campus Auxiliary Services (CAS), Inc.; Sodexo; Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union; M&T Bank; Mid-Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union; Ulster Savings Bank; Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corporation; Rocking Horse Ranch Resort; TD Bank; Everton H.
