School of Business offers Continuing Professional Education Courses

The School of Business at the State University of New York at New Paltz will begin its season of Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Courses for Accountants on Feb. 24.

These classes meet the New York State requirement for maintaining certification and will be offered on a variety of courses including ethics, taxation, auditing, accounting, advanced computer classes for accountants, and many others topics of interest.

The first class, titled “Survey of Enterprise Risk Management,” is an introduction to risk management issues targeted at auditors, managers/executives and business owners. It is a two-credit session and will cost $30.
