SUNY New Paltz Students Volunteer at Trade Show

STONE RIDGE, NY- Ulster County Community College hosted the Business to Business and the Business to Consumer trade show for Ulster County Chamber of Commerce from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, October 22. 97 exhibitors attracted more than 1,000 attendees at the eighth annual event. 21 students and Professor of Marketing, Ted Clark, from SUNY New Paltz School of Business assisted at the show by helping set up booths, surveying both attendees and exhibitors, and covering booth spaces while exhibitors went to lunch. In addition students also earned academic credit for participating in the trade show. Three students were also selected to judge the booths in a variety of categories. The exhibitors that won in the categories of Best of Show and Runner Up were Keegan Ales and Alfandre Architecture, P.C. This is the first year that the Chamber of Commerce of Ulster County produced the 2004 Showcase, and the first time it was held at Ulster County Community College.
