Michael A. Turturro is a Partner in the Accounting and Client Service departments of Vanacore, DeBenedictus, DiGovanni & Weddell, LLP. His industry experience includes, but is not limited to, transportation, manufacturing, energy (gas/oil), and wholesale, retail, distribution. Prior to joining Vanacore, et al, Mr. Turturro specialized in government contractors, software development, and construction clients for a Washington, D.C. firm. Mr. Turturro graduated from SUNY New Paltz with Bachelor of Science degrees in Finance and Accounting.

Mr. Turturro’s emphasis is in tax planning for closely-held businesses and their owners; business development consulting; financial statements and tax returns; auditing; internal controls and procedures advice; best practices ideas; technology consulting; manufacturing, energy (oil/heat), and auto dealership specialist; and, strategic planning.

Mr. Turturro is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA), Mid-Hudson Chapter of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is an Executive Committee Board Member and Treasurer for the Orange County Chamber of Commerce and serves on the Government Initiatives and Education committee; on the Board of Directors for the Mid-Hudson Pattern for Progress; the Vice President of the Hudson Valley Auto Dealers Association; serves on the Mount Saint Mary College’s Golf Committee; and has recently been appointed to the Ulster County Comproller's Advisory Board.
