Business Advisory Council: Jeffrey Fredenberg

Jeffrey M. Fredenberg

Jeffrey Fredenberg retired as the vice president of Rose and Kiernan, Inc. in Kingston in May 2012. Prior to joining Rose and Kiernan in 2001, he was the co-owner and executive vice president of the Augustine Agency, Inc. Previously, he was vice president and treasurer of Roland A. Augustine, Inc.

Mr. Fredenberg has served in the Agents Advisory Council for Central Insurance Companies, Professional Agents Council for CNA Insurance, and Sales Management Producer Recruitment Panel of the CNA Insurance Company. He was also a member of the Professional Insurance Agents Association, Independent Insurance Agents Association and the Produce Marketing Association.

Mr. Fredenberg is currently the vice president of the Gateway Foundation. He was a past member of the Children's Annex's board, Gateway Community Industry's board, the Ulster County Chamber of Commerce, New Paltz Chamber of Commerce and Middletown Chamber of Commerce. He served as the chair of Ulster County BOCES's Projects with Business Industry Business Advisory Council. He was a member of the Kingston Hospital Foundation and the Ulster County Development Center for Business boards, and a volunteer of the United Way of Ulster County.

Mr. Fredenberg was the co-honoree in the 2004 Kingston Hospital Foundation Tulip Ball. In addition, in 1994, he was awarded the Ulster County Community College Distinguished Alumni Award.

After receiving his associate's degree in retail management from Ulster County Community College, Mr. Fredenberg was awarded his bachelor's degree, also in retail management, from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
