Stephen Digilio, CFP
Stephen Digilio is a vice president and financial advisor with Morgan Stanley. He previously worked as a vice president, wealth management advisor and certified financial planner designee with Merrill Lynch. Mr. Digilio was with Merrill Lynch since 1979 and was the resident manager of the Kingston office from 1985 until 1994 when he decided to devote his full time to advising clients.
Mr. Digilio graduated from Marist College in 1969 with a Bachelor of Arts in history, concentrating in Russian studies. In 1995, he received his Certificate of Financial Planning from Marist College and, after successfully passing the licensing exam, received the designation of Certified Financial Planner from the Certified Financial Planning Board of Standards. He participates as an instructor in the Marist College Certified Financial Planning program.
He has participated on the boards of several community, business, and social organizations including the Chamber of Commerce of Ulster County as a board member and vice chairman, Girl Scouts of Ulster County and Girl Scouts of Dutchess County, United Way of Dutchess County as board member and Chairman of the Allocations Division and the Advisory Board of Benedictine Hospital. He is also a past president and former board member of the Ulster County SPCA and the Wiltwyck Golf Club. Currently Mr. Digilio serves as the president of the Hudson River Maritime Museum in Kingston and is the fleet captain of the Kingston Power Boat Association.
