School of Business Improvement Project

In Spring 2006, DSAB asked students for feedback on their experience in the School of Business. DSAB collected the information, developed a list of suggestions and presented these to the Dean. The board will work with the School to implement some of these suggestions.

Business Plan Contest

This contest is a 3 credit Independent Study course which gives undergraduate and graduate students an opportunity to explore, learn and test their business ideas and knowledge in real business setting. True to its name, the contest fosters the spirit of competition and teamwork among the students. The DSAB played a major role to get this program started and currently promotes and assists in the organization of this contest.

School of Business CD Yearbook

The yearbook contains a collection of beautiful memories of New Paltz that includes students, faculty, student associations, campus pictures and others. The yearbook was presented at the School of Business Award Ceremony during the Spring semester.

Senior Social

The DSAB hosted the first Senior Social of the School of Business in December 2005. This informal event serves as an opportunity for graduating seniors to get together and have a good time with their peers before everyone goes their own way.
