Dear School of Business Alumni,
I am very delighted to inform you that School of Business had a very active and successful year. Of course, this would not have been possible without the involvement and deep commitment of representatives from all of the School's stakeholders—students, alumni, faculty, staff, and business community.
This newsletter summarizes some of our activities and accomplishments during the last year, including the AACSB International accreditation process, faculty research, hiring of new faculty, students' successes, exciting networking events, and much more!
The Business Plan Contest, Debate Competition, Investment Competition and Voluntary Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program are thriving. Our business student associations have offered many educational programs, and the American Marketing Association competed nationally. Our dedicated alumni and business community have participated in our events, mentored our students, made presentations in classes, and provided the School with critically needed financial resources. Our faculty and staff have gone beyond their duties to improve our programs, introduce new programs, and provide our students with the best educational experiences possible. We have a great School of Business family!
The future success of our School directly depends on the involvement and commitment of our alumni. Please keep in mind, we are a family. We are also a resource for you.
As always, I look forward to hearing from you.
Your very proud Dean,
Hadi Salavitabar, Ph.D.
