School welcomes new faculty

Michael Chuang

 

Michael Chuang, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor of Statistics and Project Management. He received both a Ph.D. in Business Administration and a M.S. in Accountancy from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, as well as a M.S. in Engineering, B.S. in Business Administration and a B.S.in Civil Engineering from the National Taiwan University. His research interests include: virtual organizations/technology-mediated decision, technology and management in high-risk environments, and technology and innovation. He has previous work experience as an engineer for the Taiwan Area National Expressway Engineering Bureau. Dr. Chuang has published articles in the Journal of Technology Management in China, Chinese Management Studies, Tourism Review International, Information Systems and E-Business Management, as well as presented to International Conference on Information Systems Special Interest Groups.

 

 

 

Huanglin WangHuanglin Wang, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor of International Business. She received a Ph.D. in Business Administration from The University of Western Ontario (Canada), a M.A. in Business Economics from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (China) and a B.Sc. from Zhengzhou College of Aviation Industry Management (China). Her areas of expertise are multinational enterprise staffing strategy in overseas subsidiaries and cross-border knowledge transfer and knowledge creation in multinational enterprises. Dr. Wang has previous work experience at Johnson Consulting Firm, Shanghai Volkswagen Call Center, MCSB Systems (Beijing) Limited, and Shanghai Sparkling Drinking Water Co., Ltd. She has published articles in the Management International Review, Marketing Management (China), and Journal of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (China), as well as made research presentations to the Academy of International Business, Academy of Management, Administrative Sciences Association of Canada, and at the Annual Paris Conference on "Money, Economy and Management."

 

 

 

Yuan Wen

 

Yuan (Vivian) Wen, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor of Finance. She received a Ph.D. in Finance from Temple University, a M.A. in Economics with a concentration in International Finance from Nanjing University (China) and a B.A. in Economics with a concentration in International Finance from Hunan College of Finance and Economics (China). Her research interests are in corporate finance, financial markets, international finance and investments. Dr. Wen has worked previously as a Tax Associate with Deloitte Touche in China. She has published in The Accounting Review, International Review of Accounting, Banking and Finance, and made research presentations to the Financial Management Association.
