Final steps to achieving international accreditation

We are almost there! The School of Business has completed an intense seven year process in an effort to earn Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International accreditation. AACSB accreditation is the highest standard for business schools and will be a significant achievement for our School.

On Nov. 12-14, we held a final review visit, in which a team of three deans from AACSB business schools reviewed our academic program and interviewed a variety of people to evaluate our readiness for the final accreditation review. The AACSB Board will notify us in April of their decision.

According to AACSB, some of the benefits of accreditation include: national and international recognition; improved status from employers' perspective; recruitment of more highly qualified students; and increased chances to obtain grants and donations.
