Dear School of Business Alumni,
The School of Business completed another very exciting and productive year. In 2011, we managed to expand our ongoing educational activities and initiate new activities. A look back at the past year clearly demonstrates the active involvement of representatives from all the School’s stakeholders, including students, alumni, faculty, staff and the business community. We simply have a dynamic School of Business family!
This newsletter summarizes some of our activities in 2011. We have made significant progress toward earning international accreditation and we look forward to complete this project within next two years. Our seven business student associations have offered many educational programs and competed regionally and nationally. The Business Plan Contest, Debate Competition, and Investment Competition are and getting better and bigger every year. Our dedicated alumni and business community have participated in our events, mentored our students, made presentation in classes, and provided the School with critically needed financial resources. Our faculty and staff have gone beyond their duties to improve our programs, introduce new programs, and provide our students with best educational experiences possible.
The success and future of our School directly depends on involvement and commitment of our alumni. Please keep in mind, we are a family. We are also a resource for you. If you need help finding a job, we can help. If you need help with a project, we can help.
As always, I look forward to hearing from you.Your very proud Dean,
Hadi Salavitabar, Ph.D.
