1) No application needed for ResNet

ResNet is now a standard feature in every room. (see FAQ for more
info).
2) Free Anti-virus software!!! 
All students can now download the No.1 Anti-virus program on the market
(by Symantec) for FREE. (Click
here for Download page).
3) Student login required. 
When you start your web browser for the first time you will be directed to a login screen.
You may also have to login from time-to-time.
4) To report a ResNet problem - Call or Visit
the "Student Help Desk" at ext. 3597 in Humanities103.
5) Citrix - Do you need to run the same
version of software that runs in the labs? You can, right from your
own room!!!

General ResNet Information:
The Residence Hall Network (ResNet)
provides fast Ethernet connections to students living in all residence
halls. These dedicated Ethernet connections allow students to connect
to the SUNY New Paltz campus network and to the larger Internet. Connections
are accessible to any student with a personal computer and an appropriate
network interface device (Ethernet card). For more information
on this service and required hardware, refer to the FAQs
(Frequently Asked Questions).
