From Beacon
Take Route 84 across the Newburgh Beacon Bridge to Exit 10 (South). Go to 9W. At the 4th traffic light make a right-hand-turn onto North Street (VFW Bldg. on the corner). Follow North Street- the road bears to the left. Go through the traffic light. You are now on Fullerton Avenue. The school is two blocks down on the right-hand-side.

From Cornwall
Follow Route 9W North. Through Broadway. (OCCC Extension Building on the right-hand-side). Continue on route 9W to the intersection of South Street. (Downing Park on the right-hand-side) Make a left-hand-turn onto South Street and follow to the intersection of Fullerton Avenue. NFA on the right.

From I 84 west take exit 3W. Make right onto Route 17M, which becomes Dolson Ave. Go approximately a mile and a half. After crossing over railroad tracks, get in the left lane. At light make left onto Bennet St. At the end of Bennet Street, the campus will be in front of you. Make right onto South St. to find parking.

Directions to SUNY New Paltz Extension Office - The office is located in the Learning Resource Center (LRC, otherwise known as the library). We are on the second floor, near the Tutoring Center in Room 209. The Library is adjacent to Morrison Hall, the large white mansion .

From Thruway Exit 17: Left onto 17K (becomes Broadway in Newburgh city) Go to the end of Broadway (approx. 3 - 4 miles) take a left at the T and go to the last building (formerly Key Bank). Take a left and go to sign OCCC Parking. Go to second tier and park at the far end of the garage.

From Middletown: Take interstate 84 East, Exit 10S, stay to right of ramp, turn right onto Route 9W and immediately get into left lane. At stoplight turn left onto North Street, which becomes Marine Drive (also named LeRoy Place, Water Street). Continue on Marine Drive to Second Street. Turn right onto Second Street, go up hill and turn left onto Colden Street. Go one block; Newburgh Extension Center will be on right.

From Route 17: Take Exit 121E (Interstate 84). Follow same directions as if coming from Middletown.

From Upstate New York or New York City/New Jersey area: Take New York State Thruway to Exit 17 - left onto 17K (becomes Broadway in Newburgh city) Go to the end of Broadway (approx. 3 - 4 miles) take a left at the T and go to the last building (formerly Key Bank). From Connecticut: Take Interstate 84 West, Newburgh/Beacon Bridge, Exit 10S, stay to right of ramp, turn right at end of ramp. Staying to right, follow sins to Route 9W, turn right onto Route 9W. After next light, immediately get into left lane. At stoplight, turn left onto North Street, which becomes Marine Drive (also named LeRoy Place, Water Street). Continue on Marine Drive to Second Street. Turn right onto Second Street, go up hill, turn left onto Colden Street. Go one block; Newburgh Extension Center will be on right.

Coming from New York City:
Take Thruway north. Take Exit 16 heading West to Route 17 for approximately 15 miles. Take Exit 124 (Florida/Goshen) and take a left at the exit ramp light. This puts you on Route 17A going toward Florida, NY. Follow directions for Route 17A below.

Route 17A: Directions to Orange-Ulster BOCES:
Take 17A south out of Goshen towards Florida. You will see Suresky Auto Dealer on your right. Continue straight about a mile to the next traffic light and make a RIGHT onto Gibson Road (you will see a large sign that reads BOCES AREA EDUCATION CENTER): Just over the crest of the hill you will see the BOCES campus on your left.

Take Thruway South to exit 13. Take Palisades Parkway North, get off at exit 10. Bear right on Germonds Road. Go to Route 304 (traffic light). Cross over Route 304 and continue in a straight line. Germonds Road becomes Parrott Road. Go down Parrott Road for 1/2 mile. Turn right into first driveway. Conference Center is on the left of driveway.

From New York City:

  1. Take NYS Thruway (I-87) North to the exit 16 (Harriman)
  2. Pay $.60 toll and take route 17 West ("the Quickway"/future86) to Monicello. Exit 105A(route 42 So. /Monticello. Note exit 105A comes immediately after 105B.
  3. Exit ramp feeds onto route 42 South. When you come to 2nd traffic light make right onto Broadway. The Lillian Benmosche centers/Sullivan county Community College is set back from the road. Entrance to parking lot comes after the Econo Lodge.

From Port Jervis/ Pennsylvania:

  1. Take 84 East to exit 4w (Middletown). Exit will put you onto 17 West.
  2. Follow directions above from # 2 on.

From Albany:

  1. Take NYS Thruway (I87) south to exit 19(Kingston/Route 209) Always head towards Monticello.
  2. Take Route 209 about 4\30 miles to Wurtsboro. Proceed through Wurtsboro and turn right onto route 17 west.
  3. Take route 17 west to exit 105A(Route 42 south/Monticello). Note: Exit 105A comes immediately after 105B.
  4. Follow Directions Above from #3 0n.

Sullivan County Community College

From the Metropolitan Area:

New York State Thruway north to exit 16 Harriman. Take Route 17 west to exit 100 in Liberty. Go east 3.4 miles on Route 52, turn right at the college sign. The campus is approximately 100 miles from New York City.

From Binghamton Area:

Route 17 east from Benghamton to exit 100. Then go east 3.4 miles on Route 52. Turn right at the college sign. The college is approximately 90 miles from Binghamton.

From the Albany Area:

New York State Thruway south to exit 19 and follow Route 209 south to Ellenville. Take Route 52 west 17 miles to Loch Sheldrake. Turn left at the traffic light and right at the college sign. The campus is approximately 100 miles from Albany.

From White Plains, Eastern Westchester, and Connecticut: Take Cross Westchester Expressway (Route 287) to Route 119 West. Follow Route 119 West to the intersection of Route 9 (approximately 2 miles.) Make a right turn onto Route 9 (Broadway) drive approximately 1 1/2 miles. School entrance is on the right hand side of the road at a traffic light opposite a Mobil station. Bear left up the driveway and park in the visitor's area.

From Dutchess or Putnam Counties: Take Route 9 South to Village of Sleepy Hollow. Drive approximately 2 miles past Phelps Memorial Hospital Center. School entrance is on the left-hand side of the road at a traffic light opposite a Mobil station. Bear left up the driveway and park in the visitor's area.

From Tappan Zee Bridge: Take the first exit after the tollbooths, Exit 9. At the end of the exit ramp, make a right turn onto Route 9 (Broadway) drive approximately 1 3/4 miles. After 1 mile Dolson Avenue becomes Academy Avenue. After 2 blocks on Academy Avenue turn left at traffic light onto Fulton Street. Southwinds Community Center is one block up on your left. Parking adjacent to building.

SUNY Rockland Spring Valley

Take Thruway to Exit 14 (Spring Valley exit). Take Rte #59 west to Main Street (Rte #45). Right on Main St and go through town. There will be 5 or 6 lights - the facility is a big old school on the left with a sign out front identifying the facility. It is next to the Salvation Army. Go left to the parking lot in the back.

Taconic Hills Central School

From the South:
Route 9 north to Route 9H. Take Route 9H North to State Route 23. Turn right and head East on Route 23 for approximately 4 miles to the intersection of County Route 11a (Beauty Award Highway). Turn left onto County Route 11a; the school is 1000 feet in on the left.

From the North:
Exit 12 off of I-90. Take Route 9 South to Route 9H. Take Route 9H South approximately 16 miles to the intersection of State Route 23. Turn left and head East on Route 23 for approximately 9 miles to intersection fo County Route 11a. Turn right onto County Route 11a. School is on the left.

From East:
Take Route 23 West from Great Narrington, MA to intersection of Route 22. Continue West on Route 23 for about 5 miles to the intersection of County Route 11a. Turn left onto County Route 11a.

From West:
Exit NYS Thurway to Catskill exit. Head East on State Route 23 across the Rip Van Winkle Bridge. Continue East on Route 23 for approximately 5 miles to intersection of Route 23 and Route 9H. Turn left and head north on Route 9H to intersection of Route 23/23B. Turn hight and head east on Route 23 for approximately 9 miles to intersection of County Route 11a.
