Deep Water Aqua Aerobics and Aquaoga (Aqua-Yoga)

Open to Students, Faculty & Staff possessing a valid SUNY New Paltz ID>

It is a program for people of all abilities. The first half of the class is an exercise to music program. The second half of the class combines yoga, stretching and toning. The class begins with a warm up, proceeds into aerobic exercise; the final segment of the class features a stretching and toning program that uses the support and resistance of the water to aide in stretching and toning the body while relaxing the mind and uplifting the spirit. It is an excellent way to increase flexibility, improve balance and strengthen muscle tone. This class is suitable for students of all ages, abilities and fitness levels.
