Fall Sports 2009

Welcome Back 5K Run Registration Period: CLOSED
Date: September 2nd Time: 3PM

Flag Football Registration Period: CLOSED
Dates: 9/9 to 11/8 Times: M-Th 3-7PM & Sun. 10-6PM
Location: Recreation Fields Registration Location: Elting 206 or ONLINE
Forfeit Fee: $25 Captain's Meeting: 9/8

Notes: Teams will play weekly during the time slots assigned to this sport.  Playing times are non-negotiable. Participants can only play for 1 team in theirgender league and 1 Co-rec team. To register, a team must have at least 7 participants {8 (4M/4F) for Co-Rec}

M/W: Max playing 7, Min playing 5, Co-Rec: 4M/4F, 4F/3M, 3M/3F

Outdoor Soccer Registration Period: CLOSED

Location: Upper Tennis Courts Registration Location: Elting 206 or ONLINE
Forfeit Fee: Singles $5, Doubles $10 Participant Meeting: 9/7

Notes: Men's & Women's Singles and Doubles are all offered.  Rackets and Tennis Balls are able to be borrowed at the front desk of the AWC. Scorecards will be posted online. Each participant should bring a scorecard to the contest. The winner is responsible to hand-in the scorecard by the deadline each week.  At the end of the regular season there will be a tournament on a weekend to crown a champion.

3v3 Basketball Tournament Registration Period: CLOSED
Dates:9/9 to 10/7 Times: Sun-Th 7-10PM
Location: Elting & Hawk Center
Registration Location: Elting 206 or ONLINE
Forfeit Fee: $15 Captain's Meeting: 9/8

Note: Team will play weekly (or twice a week) during the assigned time  slots for this sport.  Playing times are non-negotiable. Participants can only play for 1 team in their gender league and 1 Co-Rec team. To register, a team must have at least 3 participants (2M/1F for Co-Rec)


Softball Tournament Registration Period: POSTPONED

Notes: The tournament will be a double elimination tournament (unless numbers are too large to allow this).  Playing times are non-negotiable. Participants can be on one gender team and one co-rec team.  To register, teams must have at least 10 participants (6M/4F for Co-Rec)

M/W Max playing 10, Min playing 8 (5M/3F for Co-Rec)

Kickball Tournament Registration Period: CANCELED
Dates: 9/19 & 9/20 Times: Sat & Sun 10AM-6PM
Location: Rec Fields Registration Location: Elting 206 or ONLINE
Forfeit Fee: $15 Captain's Meeting: 9/19 @ 9:30AM

Notes: The tournament will be a double elimination tournament (unless numbers are too large to allow this).  Playing times are non-negotiable. This tournament is an open tournaments so there are no co-rec regulations.  To register, teams must have at least 8 participants.

Texas Hold-Em Tournament Registration Period: CLOSED

This tournament is open to all students with no divisions.

Volleyball Registration Period: 9/29 to 10/9
Dates: 10/14 to 11/24 Times: Sun-Th 7-10PM
Location: Elting Gym Registration Location: Elting 206 or ONLINE
Forfeit Fee: $25 Captain's Meeting: 10/13

Indoor Field Hockey Registration Period: 10/5 to 10/21
Dates: 10/25 to 12/6 Times: Sun 4-7PM
Location: Elting Gym Registration Location: Elting 206 or ONLINE
Forfeit Fee: $25 Captain's Meeting: 10/22

Notes: Playing times are non-negotiable. Participants can only play for 1 team. To register, teams must have at least 5 participants. A team must have a min. of 4 participants to start a game.

Ping Pong Tournament Registration Period: 9/29 to 10/9
Dates: 10/14 to 11/24
Times: Set-up by Individuals
Location: AWC Registration Location: Elting 206 or ONLINE
Forfeit Fee: $5 Participant Meeting: 10/13

Notes: All paddles and balls can be borrowed from the front desk of the AWC. This will be a double elimination tournament. First round games will need to be completed by a certain date however individual match-ups can pick their own times to meet and play. Matches will consist of a best of 5. Upon completion results must be brought to the Intramural Office room 206.
