Covered by the Athletic Fee

A student who is registered for either summer session pays the Athletic fee through student accounts. The fee covers both sessions, regardless if they are registered for both sessions.

Full-Time Undergraduate and Graduate Students (Non-Enrolled for Summer)

$75 membership fee for the summer

Eligible: Students in good academic standing registered for the Fall 2008 semester with a current ID

Full-Time Faculty and Staff

$50 per term (Fall semester through Winter Intercession or Spring semester through Summer session)

Eligible: Current full-time members of the faculty and staff

Part-Time Faculty and Staff

$50 per term (same breakdown as above)

Eligible: Part-time faculty and staff who are eligible for other campus benefits

Faculty and Staff Families

$180 per year for a spouse, domestic partner, or family member, 18 and older only (Fall semester through Summer session) or $90 per term. $50 per additional immediate family member for a total of 6 people maximum per family including Faculty or Staff member.

Family members (18 and older) can purchase a separate membership for the summer session only (May –August) for a fee of $75. Family membership includes parking permit for additional family members, limited to one per family. Faculty/Staff must be an AWC member in order for a family member to purchase membership.

Retired Faculty and Staff

$100 per year (Fall semester through Summer session) $50 per term (Fall semester through Winter Intercession or Spring semester through Summer session)

Eligible: Former full-time faculty and staff members

Retired Faculty and Staff Spouses & Family Members

$180 per year (Fall semester through Summer session) or $90 per term. $50 per additional immediate family member (18 and older) up to 4 persons.

SUNY New Paltz Alumni

$200 per year (Fall semester through Summer session) $100 per term (Fall semester through Winter Intercession or Spring semester through Summer session)

Eligible: Former undergraduate and graduate matriculated students of SUNY New Paltz who have taken at least 12 credits. There are no family privileges for alumni.

Guest Passes

$10 per day and must be accompanied by a current AWC member. A monthly guest pass can be purchased for $75.

ELTING GYM FACILITIES

COST

Pool

All faculty, staff and students (and their spouses and children) currently enrolled or employed at the college are allowed to use the pool during posted hours for no charge. An adult family member must accompany children under the age of 18. Community members may use the pool for a fee as noted on the Wellness and Recreation page.

Racquetball Courts

Open to all faculty, staff and students and their families at no charge during posted hours. An adult family member must accompany children under the age of 18.

Elting Weight Room

Open to faculty, staff and students at no charge during posted hours. Spouses and family members cannot use this area.

Elting Gym

Open to all faculty, staff and students and their families at no charge during posted hours. An adult family member must accompany children under the age of 18.

OUTDOOR FACILITIES

COST

Tennis Courts

The south tennis courts are available to faculty, staff, students and community members at no charge. The north courts are available for intercollegiate use or prior arrangement with the Facility Manager for faculty, staff and students only.

Track

Open to all faculty, staff, students and community at no charge during posted hours.

ALL OTHER ATHLETIC & WELLNESS FACILITIES

Open to faculty, staff and students at no charge pending approval of the Facility Manager and/or posted hours.
