Peer mentoring is a fantastic didactic tool that of course benefits the person being taught. However, as it turns out, it also benefits the teacher! This is simply because it is impossible to explain a concept without deeply understanding it first. Therefore student mentors have just discovered a secret that professors have kept for years: to learn by teaching!
