Undergraduate - BFA Degree Program
After taking required freshman courses, Basic Photography and at least two other intermediate level courses, a student may apply for the B.F.A. major in photography. The application review, which is based on a portfolio and written application submitted by the student, takes place shortly after mid-term of each semester. If accepted, a student must take all required photography courses as well as departmental and college requirements. After completing almost all photography courses, the B.F.A. students take Senior Studio I and II in their final two semesters. The Senior Studio projects are presented in an exhibition on campus at the Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art.
