Philosophy Minor
Students majoring in other areas may be interested in the Philosophy Minor, which
requires the completion of six courses in philosophy, three of them at the
upper division level.

Religious Studies Minor
There is an interdisciplinary minor in Religious Studies, coordinated by the
Philosophy Department. It requires six courses and provides the opportunity
to study religion from the perspectives of several different disciplines,
among them anthropology, philosophy, history, literature, sociology, and
art history.

General Education
In addition to its minor and major programs, the Philosophy Department teaches
many courses which fulfill requirements in the various categories of General
Education. It also offers courses which are required by or fulfill requirements
in other majors, including Geography, Political Economy, Nursing, Business,
and Computer Science.
