To reserve your space at our Orientation and Registration session, you need to complete the online reservation form. To do this, you will need to log in to applicants.newpaltz.edu/undergrad as an accepted student.
Once a transfer student is accepted, he or she will receive a personal letter indicating the dates of the Transfer Course Registration and Orientation Session. During the five-hour program, students will meet with faculty advisors to plan their first semester and receive their course schedule in hand. This is the one time all matriculating students with an AA, AS, AAS, or credits toward their first Bachelor's degree need to attend this program. In addition, a services fair is provided to facilitate 'taking care of important business' at one location.
Please note the following:
Students who do not need to attend Transfer Course Registration and Orientation:
- Students accepted into the Nursing Program.
- Students with a BA or BS degree seeking a Second Bachelor's Degree.
- Students who have been readmitted to the college.
Students who fall into the above categories are asked to contact their appropriate academic department to schedule a meeting with an advisor. The department will request your folder from The Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
