- Be a current full-time, matriculated New Paltz student who will be returning to campus for the Fall 2008-Spring 2009 academic year
- A cumulative Grade Point Average of 2.5 at the time you apply, and a 2.5 Cumulative GPA at the end of the Spring semester
- Be in good academic and disciplinary standing at the end of Spring 2008
- Not planning to take summer courses in 2008
- Have a desire to learn how to work with groups of people
