To reserve your space at our Orientation and Registration session, you need to complete the online reservation form. To do this, you will need to log in to applicants.newpaltz.edu/undergrad as an accepted student.
Please note that reservations are filled upon receipt on a first-come, first-served basis, so register as soon as possible. Payment can be made by check, money order or VISA/Master Card if you are reserving by mail; if you are reserving on the Web, we can only honor credit card payments.
After completing your online reservation request, please make note of your confirmation number. This number confirms that your transaction has processed, but it is not a confirmation that you are definitely in the session you requested.
WE REGRET THAT RESERVATIONS CANNOT BE TAKEN OVER THE TELEPHONE.
You will receive a confirmation post-card by return mail to inform you of your session and dates. We make every effort to accommodate your first preference, however if your first choice is not available, we will schedule you for an alternate selection.
Two weeks prior to your session, you will receive a Confirmation Packet with packing tips, directions and a campus map.

Students or guests with special needs (accessible housing, sign language, or materials in alternate formats) should contact the Center for Student Development. Students who received testing accommodations in high school should contact the Disability Resource Center at (845) 257-3020 to request accommodations during Orientation's English Exam. An Open House will also be held in the Disability Resource Center on the last day of each Orientation session.
Accepted Freshmen Students
(Transfer students may continue with the registration process)
Due to the high influx of orientation reservations, we are currently in the process of re-assessing orientation session availability. We expect that we will complete this by the end of the month of May and will contact you after June 2nd with information on session availability and to register you for an orientation date. If you have not yet registered for an orientation session, please call 845-257-3088 to give us your name and daytime phone number so that we will be able to contact you. Thank you.
