Processing Packets
We will stop accepting packets Summer Session I: by July 8, 2005; Summer Session II: by August 17, 2005
In order to formally acknowledge and document those situations where either a packet was never returned or perhaps returned in the next semester a formal process has been discussed with the Deans and the Provost. We will be doing the following:
If a packet was distributed (signed out), yet was not received for processing, Continuing and Professional Education or Institutional Research will generate a formal memo to you and your department chair indicating that you participated, but through no fault of your own the packet was not returned.
If a packet is received more than one week after grades are due for that semester, we will return the packet to you, unprocessed, with a letter (that can be used in your dossier) that indicates that the packet was received after the cut-off date and acknowledge your participation.
We are keenly aware of the need for SEI reports to be returned as timely as possible and we will be looking at how to expedite the process.
Note: any reference to packets and paper reports in the instructions below is for the traditional paper administration of the SEI's.
