The Web Management Office serves the SUNY New Paltz community by using the Web as a communication medium. We're here to help you figure out how the Web can best be used to streamline functions in your office, make paper transactions electronic, and more.

We maintain Web sites for the SUNY New Paltz community, though each site must have a content manager responsible for providing updates to the Web Management Office.

We use a content management system called OmniUpdate, for select department sites. This system enables departments with large volumes of updates on a regular basis to make changes to the content on their site at anytime using their Web browser and a specified workflow process. No programming or technical skills are required, as it is similiar to using Microsoft Word. The staff in the Web Managaement Office will determine which departments qualify to use this system.

We create brand new Web sites and re-design existing ones, depending on your needs.

We are responsible for the college's portal, my.newpaltz.edu.

The Web Management Office stays on top of the latest technology and Web features, and reviews related research that will help make New Paltz sites stand out from the rest.

We can help you plan a Web version of your print publication. Please contact the Web Team Manager early in the planning stages of your print publication.
