Expertise: I have compartive research experience on the development of democratic political institutions in Turkey and Latin America (Chile and Mexico). I recently finished my dissertation titled: "Squatters Stand Up: Political Institutions and Demand Making in the Developing World." I have been teaching political science classes in some capacity for six years. The classes I teach at New Paltz include United Nations Semester, Middle East Politics and Institutions, International Politics, Latin American Politics, Social and Economic Development.
