Expertise: I have a Ph.D. in Hispanic and Luso-Brazilian Literatures and Languages. My research project focused on the cultural interchanges between the Dominican Republic and its Diaspora in New York. While pursuing my Ph.D., I worked in various colleges in New York City as an instructor and writing fellow.

Currrent Research: Currently working on two articles and a book proposal to be completed in Fall and Spring 2016, respectively.
