Expertise: With a PhD from New York University and a background in educational publishing that includes developing materials for struggling students, Wendy Vierow works with Educational Opportunity Students to improve their critical thinking and financial literacy skills. She also teaches international students Business Communication and Culture at the Institute for International Business. In addition, she is a performance studies scholar and artist, who has appeared in her own works as well as those by the multimedia artist Toni Dove.

Currrent Research: Wendy Vierow and Anne Fliotsos, of Purdue University, have co-edited International Women Stage Directors, which will be published by the University of Illinois Press in the Fall of 2013. This pioneering reference includes chapters featuring twenty-four countries. Each chapter includes information about women’s rights; an examination of how political, social, and economic factors affect women stage directors; and information about pioneering and contemporary women stage directors.
