Graduate Admissions Advising opens office in Grimm House

In an effort to strengthen communication between the office and prospective graduate students, the Graduate School recently opened a welcome center at the Center for Continuing and Professional Education in the Grimm House. With more than 1,400 students enrolled in graduate programs and about 1,200 students applying each year, the Graduate School is growing and finding new ways to accommodate its students. The office, run by Caroline Murphy, assistant dean for Graduate Admissions Advising, is open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 12:30 - 6:30 p.m.; Wednesday, 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month, 12:30 - 3:30 p.m. For more information, contact x3285 or

Print Shop open to visitors Dec. 7

The Print Shop (HAB 08) will host an open house for the campus community this Wednesday, Dec. 7. Company representatives will be on hand to help demonstrate the new digital equipment and software that allows anyone to get a job done without leaving their desk. Staff will be available to show the wide format (poster) printer, and 2400 books/hour booklet maker. Meet the staff, enjoy some light refreshments, and see what's behind the print shop's improved services.
