Faculty/staff meeting set for Friday

The Faculty and Professional Staff will meet 3 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 12, in Lecture Center 102. Come early to enjoy the refreshments that will be served in the lobby at 2:30 p.m.. The agenda, along with minutes of the previous meeting, will be sent out by e-mail on Tuesday, in advance of the meeting. SEFA pledge cards coming soon

SUNY New Paltz has begun the annual State Employees Federated Appeal (SEFA) Campaign for 2005. SEFA is conducted throughout the State and last years' efforts by this campus raised more than $16,000 toward this worthwhile cause. Employees of the college will be able to contribute through payroll deductions and pledge cards will be distributed soon. The cards are to be returned at the beginning of December. It's time to administer SEIs

The Student Evaluation of Instructors (SEI) will be administered from Nov. 22-Dec. 7. Faculty may pick up their packets in the following locations:

  • Liberal Arts and Sciences: in your individual departments
  • Education: Mailroom in Old Main 107
  • Science and Engineering: Dean's Office
  • Business Administration: Dean's Office
  • Fine and Performing Arts: Dean's Office
  • Honors and Interdisciplinary courses: department of the school you are from.

Packets will be available after Nov. 17. Please inform your administering students of the drop-off boxes. They will also be listed on the instruction sheet inside of each packet. The drop-off locations are:

  • Business: East side, back entrance vestibule (outside room 138)
  • Education: Old Main, south side stairwell on the 1st floor
  • Lecture Center: North lobby, outside double doors to rooms 102-113

Purchasing collecting Toys for Tots

The Purchasing Department, HAB 307, will once again collect new, unwrapped toys for local children through the "Toys for Tots Campaign" in cooperation with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve and the Ladies Auxiliary to the VFW in New Paltz. Please bring contributions to the Purchasing Department between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The deadline is Dec. 8.
