Fresh Dance - Program II

Fresh Dance at SUNY New Paltz

Program II of Fresh Dance, an annual production of the Department of Theatre Arts uniting professional dancers, regional dance companies, and students will begin April 28 in McKenna Theatre.

With a focus on choreography and performance across a diverse spectrum of dance, the production offers original solo and ensemble works accompanied by an array of musical accompaniment.

Guest artists include Leajato Amara Robinson, a principal performer in the hit show Tap Dogs, and artist-in-residence this spring at New Paltz.

Fresh Dance is complemented by an open forum that will take place following the performance on May 1. Audience members are invited to participate in a question and answer session with choreographers and designers following this performance.

McKenna Box Office will be open Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Saturday from 1-5 p.m. and on Sunday from 11a.m.- 2 p.m. Tickets: $12 general, $10 students/seniors. The Box Office is open one hour prior to all performances.
