
Maya Angelou event rescheduledDue to unforseen circumstances, Dr. Maya Angelou’s Nov. 13 visit to the New Paltz campus has been rescheduled to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3, in the Elting Gymnasium.
All tickets for the event are transferable. If refunds are needed, please go to the College Activities Office (SUB 209) or make a request in writing to the same office before Nov. 21. Dr. Maya Angelou is a well-known poet, educator, historian, best-selling author, actress, playwright, civil-rights activist, producer and director. Angelou has authored 12 best-selling books, including "I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings" and her current best-seller, "A Song Flung Up to Heaven." Tickets will go back on sale this Tuesday, Nov. 11, in the Student Union Building (first floor) Information Booth. Tickets for SUNY New Paltz students are $5; faculty and staff $10; all others $20 and front- row seats are $30. Tickets will be on sale from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. This event is sponsored by the RHSA, CAS and College Activities. For more information, contact the Information Booth at x3000. |
