Payroll donations for a change

The 2007 State Employees Federated Appeal (SEFA) Campaign is underway. College employees pledged $18,000 during 2006 through payroll deductions to participating charitable agencies.

Each employee received a mailing that included information about payday drawings throughout the upcoming year, 50/50 raffles this fall and a special “Kick It Up a Notch” raffle for participants that either increase the dollar level of their deduction or refer a new co-worker to the program.

This year’s deadline is Dec. 11. However, employees can sign up for SEFA payroll deductions throughout the fiscal year.

For more information, contact a SEFA committee member Lorraine DuBois at x3192.
