The State Employees Federal Appeal (SEFA) 2008 Campaign got off to a great start this year with the campaign's kick-off breakfast, held on Oct. 22 in the College Terrace. Campaign manager Darlene Alessi (Library) (left) hopes to surpass last year's campaign total of $20,449. Donations, which are made by SUNY New Paltz faculty and staff in the form of payroll deductions, can benefit any number of local charitable organizations. A list of participating agencies can be found at www.sefa.state.ny.us. Signed pledge forms need to be handed in by Dec. 5. Alessi is seen here with fellow SEFA committee members (l-r) Robin Cohen La Valle (Student Development), Alice Sheldon (Finance and Administration), Sandra DiStasi (Communication Disorders) and Lorna Platt (Design and Printing Services. Missing from the photo are Bob Crolius (Computer Services) and Bruce DuBios (Campus Auxiliary Services).
