Jacquie Sisco '09 (Elementary Education, Social Studies - History) learns how to use a fire extinguisher from a member of the New York State Office of Fire Prevention and Control (OFPC) at the campus's Fire Safety Day on Sept. 19. The event was hosted by the OFPC, the New Paltz Fire Department and the SUNY New Paltz Office of Environmental Health and Safety. Other events included a mock dorm room burn and a sprinkler demonstration that also took place on the Old Main Quad.
