On the road
Two new highway signs - one on Route 299 West (pictured) and the other on Route 299 East - were installed on Aug. 16 and 17 by Timely Signs of Kingston as part of an ongoing effort with the New York State Department of Transportation and the college to provide visitors and prospective students to the college with clear directions to campus.
Moving along
College President Steven Poskanzer (left) and his son, Craig (right), help first-year student Alexandra Bailey move into Shango Hall during the college's Aug. 20 Moving In Day. Bailey is one of almost 950 first-year students to arrive on campus for the fall 2007 semester. Additionally, there are about 725 new transfer students attending New Paltz this semester.
