For the fifth consecutive year, the SUNY New Paltz Management Association (MA) has been awarded the Superior Merit Award by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). Winning the award places the college's chapter in the top 25 percent of all nationwide chapters. This year, the award was given to only 14 chapters in the Northeast region. The Management Association was one of two SUNY collegiate chapters to receive the Superior Merit Award. The national award program recognizes chapters for achievement in the areas of professional chapter operations, professional development of members, support of the human resource profession and partnership with SHRM.
