An employee of Northern Construction Services of Weymouth, Mass., dismantles an excavated extension loop behind Scudder Hall, as part of Phase III of the campus's high-temperature, hot-water replacement project. Excavation and prep work, such as this, is underway in four locations: on both sides of the South Side Loop bridge; in the Parker Quad just east of Bliss Hall; on the Academic Concourse west of Coykendall Science Building; and between the Jacobson Faculty Tower and the Old Main Building.
